P/////AKT is a contemporary art space in Amsterdam. Positioned between art academies and artist-run initiatives on the one hand, and the institutional and commercial art world on the other, P/////AKT offers a unique platform for experimentation and growth. The organisation’s aim is to provide young, talented artists the opportunity to develop new work, gain experience in setting up a solo exhibition, and present their practice to an engaged and knowledgeable audience.

Each year, P/////AKT organises a programme built around a specific curatorial focus. It consists of five large-scale solo exhibitions, offering artists the time, space, attention and resources to fully explore and articulate their ideas. P/////AKT is interested in emerging artists with international potential who demonstrate a distinct voice and artistic quality. Many artists who have exhibited at P/////AKT have gone on to establish themselves within the (inter)national contemporary art field.
