Een oprechte ode aan de ironie is a large-scale production by the theatre collective De Warme Winkel, exploring the meaning and function of irony from multiple perspectives. In a time when authenticity and sincerity are increasingly emphasised, irony as a stylistic device is often being called into question. The production is developed by the core members of the collective, in collaboration with scenographer Theun Mosk, director Jetse Batelaan, and former participants of the reality show Temptation Island.
