Het Achtste Leven (Voor Brilka) is a large-scale theatre production directed by Nina Spijkers. The play is an adaptation of the 2014 novel Het Achtste Leven (Voor Brilka) by Georgian author Nino Haratischwili.

This monumental family epic spans six generations and is set in twentieth-century Georgia, against the backdrop of the rise and fall of the Soviet Union. Live music plays a prominent role in the performance, ranging from folk to pop.
