Manifesta is a nomadic biennial of contemporary art taking place in a different European city every other year. In 2026, the sixteenth edition will take place in the Ruhr region, specifically in the cities of Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, and Gelsenkirchen. In these cities, Manifesta will focus on a large number of post-war modernist churches that are often abandoned or in disrepair. The goal is to give these churches a new purpose and transform them into social and cultural spaces. Within Manifesta, Ammodo Art supports 16 new works by the following artists:
