Aynur is one of the most influential voices in contemporary Kurdish music. For over 25 years, she has combined traditional Kurdish and Turkish songs with acoustic folk instruments and influences from contemporary world music, jazz, and flamenco. The result is a unique style where traditional and modern music meet. Her music is praised worldwide, and she has collaborated with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Riccardo Muti, and the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble.
