Cyber Subin is the opening performance of the 2025 Holland Festival and marks the European premiere of choreographer Pichet Klunchun. In collaboration with MIT scientist Pat Pataranutaporn, Klunchun explores how AI can deconstruct and transform traditional Thai dance. Dancers interact with avatars generated from ancient movement vocabularies, highlighting the tension between tradition and innovation. Cyber Subin offers a compelling vision of how cultural heritage can evolve through technology.
