Jameszoo (Mitchel van Dinther) brings together the musicians of Het Muziek and the Indonesian gamelan ensemble Gamelan Salukat for an evening of new music. House, his latest work, co-written by Niels Broos and Matthew Bourne, explores what a sonic space that feels like ‘home’ might sound like. The piece combines wind and string instruments and draws strong inspiration from the rich culture of gamelan and the magical compositions of Dewa Alit, founder of the gamelan ensemble Salukat.
