RESONANCE celebrates bold, thought-provoking, and iconic works from acclaimed makers that are close to NDT's heart. The program includes Jiří Kylián's Mémoires d’Oubliettes (2009). Mémoires d’Oubliettes was the last piece he created for NDT. With nostalgic sounds and whispers, this poignant work references Kylián's signature style and poetic movement language, full of elusive emotions. In the piece, he explores the workings of memory: what we forget, what remains, and how time influences our perception of reality. After years, Kylián's piece will finally be completed and danced again.
