Philip Glass based his 1996 play Les Enfants Terribles on Jean Cocteau's novel of the same name, which tells the story of a brother and sister who gradually become entangled in a complex power dynamic. This production, featuring singers from the Dutch National Opera Studio, is produced by Opera Zuid, in close collaboration with the Dutch National Opera and the Nederlandse Reisopera. It will be performed during the Opera Forward Festival in March 2026.
