In Lisaboa Houbrechts’ staging of Hermann Hesse’s novella, a young man embarks on a spiritual journey in search of self-knowledge, freedom, and inner peace. Featuring music by composer Caroline Shaw, performed by a 24-member choir, Siddhartha brings together theatre, classical singing, pop improvisation, Sufi music, and Indian dance in an interdisciplinary performance.
