NÔT is a performance by Marlene Monteiro Freitas, inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, in which storytelling becomes an act of survival. At the heart of the work is Scheherazade, who saved her life by telling the king a new, unfinished story each night. Drawing from this endless stream of ever-changing tales, Freitas translates the power of language into movement.
