For 25 years, the Concertgebouw Orchestra Academy has trained exceptionally talented young musicians. Over the years, the Academy has grown into an internationally renowned training programme. To celebrate this anniversary, Klaus Mäkelä conducts an orchestra of current and former Academy musicians, with prominent roles for former Associate Conductor Aurel Dawidiuk (appearing as both conductor and organist), principal clarinettist Carlos Ferreira, and principal violist Santa Vižine.
