The twelfth edition of Sonsbeek, led by artistic director Bonaventure Ndikung together with curators Antonia Alampi, Amal Alhaag, Zippora Elders, Aude Christel Mgba and Vincent van Velsen, explored the interconnections between labour, power and society. Sound, memory and oral traditions formed the central thread throughout.

Seventeen international artists were invited to create new works for public space, complemented by presentations at institutions including Museum Arnhem, the Kröller-Müller Museum and Collectie De Groen. Their works reflected on forgotten histories and pressing social issues, offering new perspectives on past, present and future.
